MORE ABOUT…

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy technique that helps people heal from trauma and other difficult experiences. It works by using a method called bilateral stimulation, which involves moving your eyes back and forth in a controlled way to activate both sides of the brain. This helps your brain process memories, emotions, and experiences that may have gotten "stuck" in your nervous system.

While EMDR is often recommended for trauma and PTSD, it's also effective for a variety of other issues, including:

    • Grief

    • Addictions

    • Low self-esteem & performance anxiety

    • Anxiety & panic attacks

    • Depression

    • Stress

    • Phobias

    • Sleep problems

EMDR is a unique and effective way to help you heal and move forward from whatever is holding you back.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an approach that helps you explore your inner world and connect with different parts of yourself.

In IFS, we recognize that we all have various "parts"—some of which may carry trauma, painful emotions, and negative beliefs. These are often called Exile parts, and they can hold onto past wounds. On the other hand, we also have Protector parts (like Firefighters and Managers) whose job is to protect us from feeling pain. They might show up as people-pleasing, caretaking, dissociating, or even using substances to avoid difficult feelings.

With IFS, we work together to give space to these parts, acknowledge their role, and help them heal. The goal is to reduce the intensity of their reactions and help create a more balanced, harmonious inner world where you can feel more at peace with yourself.
